Subject:LEDs - what do they do? From:Iain Harrison <iharrison -at- SCT -dot- CO -dot- UK> Date:Tue, 4 Mar 1997 10:05:38 GMT
Sorry to join this immensely important matter of state so late, but I
suddenly realised that no-one has come up with the correct answer.
The age-old question of what LEDs are doing when they are illuminated
is there inside their name - they are Light Emitting Diodes, so they
emit!
To add even more uselessly to the verbing debate - when you glue
wallpaper to a wall, you wallpaper, so presumably to newspaper is the
poor person's alternative - sticking newspapers to the walls!
;-)
