I strongly advise everyone on the list to take
this posting (vehemently slamming a specific
company) with a great deal of skepticism.
The individual who posted it did not include
a name, and the subscription record for the list
shows "Tech Writer" substituted where the rest
of us have our first and last names.
Any time that anonymous posters so enthusiastically
slam a company publicly, I'm inclined to believe
that there is some sub-text that I'm not aware of.
BTW, just for the record, I do not think this posting
reflects particularly good judgement or discretion.
I'm still undecided if it's "appropriate" for the list,
but am leaning toward amending the posting
rules to forbid this kind of message.
In general, ask me before posting this kind of
garbage, or, better yet, follow Bev's suggestion and just
indicate on the list that you have information about Company A
that you'll share off-line.
