Subject:Purpose of document review process? From:Guy Haas <ghaas -at- NETSCAPE -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 12 May 1997 12:22:54 -0700
Colleagues--
In your experience, is the purpose of the document review process
1. smoking out details that were overlooked or misstated by the
writer -- getting feedback?
2. handing out draft documentation to let folks know about the
product?
3. getting final signoff from all parties? (including an element
of "CYA")
Obviously, it includes some of each of these, but can we explore
the relative proportion and basic purpose of reviewing?
