We have multiple writers working on files
across sites. We either:
Send a zip file with the file and associated
graphics folder and files (since relative
pathnames, easy to move around as long as you
keep the immediate directory structure)
or
Send the file w/o graphics and they just
have the grey boxes. Works if they don't
need the graphics.
