I had some contact with Kelly Technical in Seattle last year. I never
did any work with them because I got a captive job soon after. The
first job they put me up for was with Boeing, some writing and editing
(but at least half desktop publishing--this was before I revised my
resume!) and offered me 20 an hour for a full time, 3-month contract
with probable extensions. I probably could have gotten more but I
didn't know about bargaining back then. The person I worked with was
very pleasant, very organized, and I'll probably contact them again when
I'm ready to freelance.
