I'm looking for ideas on what to name a category of documents that are
produced to report on changes to software. These changes are business
driven and are made to an order entry system to satisfy the needs of a
particular client when requested.
I think the analogous term for documenting hardware would be
"engineering change notice;" the term "release notes" would seem to be
an a obvious choice, but this particular system is ad-hoc and formal
version/release numbering hasn't been employed. The changes to be
documented include modifications to SELECT statements, new program
calls, changes to schema.
Any suggestions on what to call it?
Thanks,
Michael Collier
