The FX850 is listed under "Add New Hardware" in the Control Panel of Win
95, so should install without any problem.
I use an old NEC P6 alongside my HP Deskjet 850. I can dump email, rough
copies, etc. to the dot matrix and save the expensive HP ink. It is slow
but prints away in the background under Win 95 while I go on to other
things.
