I can see how some people would believe that the title "engineer" has come to be overused, and frivolously used, in recent years.

OTOH (flipping through dictionary), Webster defines "engineering" as: "2, the science of making practical application of knowledge in any field. 3, skillful management or contrivance."

With that in mind, does the NSPE really have a case?
