Subject:Re: Frame 4 vs. Frame 5 From:Dave Meek <meekd -at- WSERVER -dot- DO -dot- LOSRIOS -dot- CC -dot- CA -dot- US> Date:Thu, 5 Jun 1997 11:32:46 -0700
I plan on purchasing FrameMaker, and this topic has brought up an
interesting question for me. I want to learn FM, but I want to avoid
excessive purchasing costs. At computer shows, dealers frequently sell
older versions of popular (and not-so-popular) software. Should I buy
FM5.*, or should I buy the outdated but (hopefully) less expensive FM4.*?
Is FM4.* even available for purchase?
Any and all constructive help is greatly appreciated.
