Hi Cathy,

I certainly am not in "the know", but I remember that WordPerfect used to
have a character called a "soft hyphen". What it did was insert a hyphen in
the designated spot if needed due to the word falling at the end of a line,
for example, and removed the hyphen if it was not needed,
i.e., the word fell in the middle of a line.
