Agreed. Updating using the a b c d same page number
is nothing but a headache. I was given the task
in a tech support position to be the manual
updater slipping in new pages. Got to be a real
pain.

Don't know about y'all but everytime I revise something
when I write I fluff it and omit unnecessary text.

This doesn't really address the poor person who is
stuck with the revisions unless that person marshals
up enough support *not* to have to suppliment the
existing documentation but do a totally "new" manual.

Speaking of numbering... how many of you use the
i.e. ->1.1, 10.7 format? Just wondering. Any other
numbering schemes out there better?
