Stuart-
Oh my goodness, stop this nonsense. Bill exposed himself for being chock
full of contradictions and giving every appearance of lacking objectivity
in his quest for "the truth." If he merely wanted material to support a
position he already held, he shouldn't have referred to his work as a
"survey." It is disingenuous (at best). He was called on these aspects
and why should anyone apologize for that?

I imagine Bill thought he was doing the right thing by saying a public
"thank you" and by giving something back to the list. I'm sure he won't
make that mistake again.
