Subject:REQUEST: Format Preference From:John L Patterson <a342jpatters -at- ATTMAIL -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 20 Jun 1997 13:51:23 -0500
What is the preferred method of justifying third level headings, or more
specifically, side headings that appear in the left-hand column opposite the
body text of a manual? We have seen examples of both left and right
justified headings of this type, for example:
This is a left-justified
level heading
This is a right-justified
level heading
We could not find any specific advice in our reference books on this
subject. Also, is one form or the other more appropriate depending on the
size of the document? Thanks in advance for the help!
