Elk Rapids Engineering has an opening for a technical writer (entry to
mid level). ERE manufactures CNC tool and cutter grinders for an
international market.

We are looking for someone who can write and maintain hardware and
software manuals. In addition to writing manuals, there are
opportunities to dabble in marketing communications, on-line help and so
on. We offer a casual working environment and benefits.

Requirements:
FrameMaker experience or the desire to learn FrameMaker. Must have some
desktop publishing experience.
Demonstrated ability to write clear and concise instructions.
Familiarity with illustration software (Visio preferred)

Desirable:
Mechanical aptitude
AutoCad experience
CNC knowledge

Elk Rapids is located just north of Traverse City, Michigan, on
beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. The area has four distinct seasons.
Summers are mild to sometimes hot, fall is spectacular, winter is snowy
and cold, spring is fabulous with thousands of acres of blossoming fruit
