Paula Puffer wondered how to get started in WinHelp. Paula,
until you do find a programmer who needs your help, why not
put together a mini-portfolio of things that are
interesting and useful to you? Don't forget, you don't need
actual software, since .HLP files can exist purely for
their own sake. A few examples:
- start with your resume. How could you use WinHelp to make
this an effective self-marketing tool?
- fed up with Microsoft documentation? Roll your own! Make
up "Paula's Powerpoint Pointers", or "WordPuffect Tips".
<grin>
- Create a help file on how to write help files.
Lots of other ideas if you give it a little thought. If you
really want a client, you might want to contact RoboHelp.
Their documentation for version 3 was abysmal, and unless
they've improved it since then...
