You need to give more information, specifically what quality of color are you
looking for and what quantity of color output wil you need.
Color printers can go from small desktop inkjet printers (the Epson 800
produces GREAT color output at 1400 dpi) for printing ones and twos from word
processing software at less than $500 to Indigo printers running through Sparc
servers that produce 2400 dpi output from 4color separations (National
Geographic-quality) running hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Subject: Color Printers
I am beginning a documentation project for a software application.
Color is a very important part of this application. I am going to need
a color printer, but I don't know what kind we should get. The
documentation will consist mostly of black text, but color graphics
(screen shots) will also be included. I want something that will
produce crisp text, but also good color quality. Any ideas? Thanks in
advance.
