Subject:Summary -- documentation management books From:Chris Hamilton <chamilton -at- GR -dot- COM> Date:Thu, 24 Jul 1997 14:26:03 -0500
A couple of days ago, I asked for recommendations for a good
documentation management book. The response was nearly unanimous:
_Managing Your Documentation Project_ by Joanne Hackos (ISBN
0-471-59099-1 [thanks, Bob Mohr]), published by John Wiley & Sons, list
price $39.95.
Two other books were mentioned. I lost one in an e-mail accident
yesterday afternoon. The other was mentioned as a book not to buy, so I
will not post it here. Ms. Hackos' book also came up a couple of months
ago when I asked about resources to help with document planning.
Thanks to everyone who replied.
Chris
