Well folks, I have to say that this somewhat off-topic thread still
compelled me in some way. I have for you now empirical data. I have both an
AOL account and an ISP account (running FreeBSD). (I also have a CompuServe
account, but that's not part of this test.) Connected to both AOL and the
ISP, I sent myself some email.
My screen name on AOL is MollyDee. Address is MollyDee@ aol.com.
My user name with the ISP is debbiem. Address is debbiem -at- ucs -dot- net -dot-
