Just talked to one of the programmers who uses a zip drive--swears by it
for transporting files. It became the best solution for him when the
price dropped. His comments:
--Has had good experience with an Iomega zip drive.
--If you're running Windows NT, you'll need special software (left me
know if this is the case and I'll find out more)
--Don't try to run files off the zip drive (move them onto the hard
drive instead) because speed becomes glacial (this would seem to be a
point in favor or portable hard drives)
