For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
The College gradu-ate news anchor in McAllen Texas told us on-camera
repeatedly during the morning newscast.
The Pope *beautified* three saints yesterday.
After my second fax with the definitions of beatify and beautify, along
with a suggestion that she frame it for her wall, she called me with
tears in her voice. "You didn't have to be so mean about it." she
hadn't noticed the difference in the two words on my first faxed
message.
Had I simply said
Beatify=
Beautify=
She would not remember.
