This is stolen from a famous British (Scottish) comedian -- Billy Connelly -- who, as a child, assumed there was a visually impaired teddy bear named 'Gladly' in heaven. The reason? -- every Sunday Billy would go to church and sing the hymn "Gladly the cross I'd bear"
One of my housemates at college was famous for saying stupid things; one which springs to mind is her reference to thefamous Coppolla film "Acropolis Now". Funny, I was sure it was about Vietnam.
Cheers,
Max
