A clarification... we do *not* have a moderator. Moderators monitor
posts before they are sent to the list and will not allow an irrelevant
post to show up in anyone's mailbox. What we have is a list owner, a
very busy guy who set up this list but does *not* read posts before they
are sent to the list. It is up to us to sort out our own irrelevancies
before we write them. And when we don't, Eric lets us know after the
fact (as I can attest to ;-). But there is nothing other than your own
conscience to prevent you from filling all 2000+ mailboxes on techwr-l
with irrelevant posts.
BTW, I think Eric does a bang-up job too. :-)
