Mark--
I was able to fill in a lot of the FP97 documentation holes by consulting
"Designing Web Pages with FrontPage97" by Ken Milburn and Jessica Burdman
(New Riders Press, 1996). Though, after kicking the tires of FP 98, I am
not sure how the book will hold out with the new version.
