I started TW life as a freelance subcontracter in Baltimore at $20 an hour,
which was quite low. I've seen hiring charts that quote TWs at $40-$60 an
hour, with very experienced ones going for $100+.
There are 2 things to remember about freelancing for a living:
1) At least a third of what you make will be eaten in taxes-be sure you have
enough after that to live on
2) Be sure you make and save enough money that you can afford those times
when you won't find work.
