Not to rain on your parade, but reading up on C++ and learning
basic programming sounds to me like a dangerous combination. If
it were me I'd start with REXX or something easy and useful like
that then go to C before 'reading up' on C++.
Do you really need a lot of advanced programming concepts in
order to teach folks how to do Windows help files? I don't think
so. The process is pretty straight forward.
