Gang,
This isn't intended to provoke a MS flame fest, but
if you're working on any projects with very specific length
requirements, be aware that Microsoft Word 95
cannot count characters. We were working on a
120 character contract project (really) and found
that MS was reporting 119 characters for a 133
actual character document, which is fairly significant
when dealing with concrete length requirements.
Please don't respond on list--it's probably not of
general interest.
