Before you see Adobe Type Manager as the solution to your problems, be
aware that it can destroy your on-screen display. After installing
PageMaker (on Win95) the text in cc:Mail and Word started to
disappear. After I stopped ATM, my display was fine. I never did find
out what the underlying technical problem was, but I know to keep ATM
off so I can see what I write.
Also, if you have postscript fonts, you need a postscript printer.
Upgrading an HP for postscript (including adding memory) costs about
$500 and takes a few weeks (to order parts). You might have a
PS-enabled printer, but if you don't, ....
If you have access to high-level drawing programs (Illustrator,
CorelDraw, Designer, etc.) or page layout programs, see what fonts
come with them.
Regards, Virginia

Don't even THINK about getting TrueTrype replacements for your Adobe
PostScript fonts! <g> What you need is Adobe Type Manager (there are
separate versions for 95 and NT). Using ATM, you can install, view, and
print any PostScript font you need. Some fonts are included with ATM.
You can order all the others from Adobe. In fact, your copy of
FrameMaker, if you purchased it recently, includes the "Adobe Type on
Call" CD, which includes all of the current Adobe PostScript fonts.
Hope this helps ...
