I'm not sure which Susan Gallagher I'm responding to, but anyway...

1. Yes, you would have to buy these fonts if you don't already have them.
They're not freeware.

2. For PostScript fonts, go to www.adobe.com. When you buy PostScript
fonts from Adobe they may include a free copy of ATM. If they don't, it
may be cheaper for you to buy ATM, which comes with some fonts including
Palatino and IIRC Helvetica, than to acquire the fonts separately in TT.
2a. Adobe also carries fonts in TT.
2b. If you don't find what you're looking for at Adobe, try Monotype or
Linotype-Hell.

3. Windows uses TT fonts, the rest of the world uses PS. If you're sending
stuff out to be printed, think carefully before going to TT. Fonts that
seemingly should match across platforms often don't.

4. Arial is most definitely *not* Helvetica. If you're at all into fonts
you'll see some noticeable differences, particularly in the endings of the
lines-- what is vertical or horizontal in Helvetica is angled in Arial.
For example, look at the top of the lower-case t.

5. IIRC, Geneva is a screen font, really, not a scalable printing font.

Hope this helps.
