May I suggest:
For VIEWING SELECTIONS - Touch the appropriate DIALS. To UNDO SELECTIONS
- TOUCH the same DIAL again.
For the screens utilizing boxes, I would repeat the above, but with the
word BOXES for tech users. In the case of marketing purposes for
customers (gen. public), I would use the word SQUARES (again based on
usability recognition).
Consider the demographic age range of your end user (especially in kiosk
scenarios). There is a better usability ratio when using specific cap
segments. If you keep in mind the ol' scientific theory....for every
action there is an opposite reaction...., you will find you have composed
a fairly comprehensive set of instructions, and a definite recall pattern
by the user.
