Does anyone do online quick reference?

I have a query guide (how to write queries for our product), and I put
all the parameters into tables, separate from the how-to discussions.
This is supposed to help people who know how to write a query but can't
quite remember which operator does what.

When I made an online help version, I put the tables into a special
small help window. In the contents, I called it query quick reference.
It seems like it would be easy to make a special tool button or a
command in a help menu for quick reference. This way it never gets
lost. You can set the help window up for a certain position, and have
it stay on top.
