Subject:Information about HTMLHelp From:Maury <alsacien -at- IBM -dot- NET> Date:Thu, 13 Nov 1997 23:22:06 +0200
I have been asked to make recommendations regarding online Help in my place
of work that require a knowledge of HTMLHelp. Aside from having heard that
the WinHelp compiler would, in the next version, work with compiled, HTML,
I know nothing about HTMLHelp, and I'm in a situation in which I have to
familiarize myself with it in a relatively short time.
My main concern is to know which tools can port easily from printed
documentation to online documentation in the HTMLHelp format. I also need
to know what tools can make a smooth conversion of previous versions of
WinHelp into the newer version, because there will be a number of upgrades
that will require this change as well. Unfortunately, I've not gotten much
information among the people I know; they seem to be less informed than I.
