hi,
i don't know if this is the place to fire this question.
(I am a new kid around here. haven't had the time to go thru the archives.)
therefore, very sorry if this is a waste of time.
but i have this msg which i get from the Microsoft help compiler, dumped in a peculiar file with just ".err" for a filename. (that's right, no first part eight character name.)
HCRTF 4.01.0950
C:\WINTOOLS\COMMON\LCMEM.CPP(531) : Assertion failure: Heap is corrupted
The system is Windows 95, Robohelp '95. Complete Installation.
The directory structure mentioned in the message "C:\WINTOOLS\COMMON\" does not exist on my computer.
Can somebody help solve this? I have posted the same msg to the help desk guys at microsoft. (Last time they took too much time.)
