Subject:Suggestions for printers? From:geoff-h -at- MTL -dot- FERIC -dot- CA Date:Mon, 8 Dec 1997 12:55:24 -0600
Buck Buchanan asked for advice on buying printers. Buck, PC
Magazine is famous for its annual "blockbuster printer
review"... it's their name, but it's not too far from
accurate. If you can hold off a week or two before buying,
the upcoming issue will give you all the info you need to
do your preliminary comparisons. Just read the reviews
carefully: I often disagree with their editor's choice
selection, and you probably will too. If you need some
resources in the meantime, the Oct. 21/97 issue covers
several color printers, and last year's printer issue
(dates not handy, sorry) will give you a decent overview.
