Since when is it required that any job enough to live on? Are you
proposing that every entry level position pay whatever you deem is
sufficient to live on? How about unskilled positions: "Would you like
fries with that?"
If you don't like the rate, don't take the job. But don't confuse your
financial needs with the value of your skills. The two are not causally
related.
