I agree that agencies can relieve writers of the marketing effort. I worked
through agencies years ago. However, I lost interest when I found that my
comments that I have a "real" office and work primarily offsite went in one
ear and out the other. I have yet to find an agency or agency who
represents writers for offsite work.
