        I'd bet that the evidence of the ton of stuff demonstrated
something that wouldn't have been so convincing without it. Also, probably
your conversation was peppered w/ "When I did this job" (point to manual),
"I used Japanese, HTML, all on a UNIX mac server with levels 2, 4, and 9
from the JPL edit levels  in active voice, imperative mood, except
for expository text, information mapped according to ...."
        etc...
        I'm not sure if this stuff convinces people or scares 'em, but it
does seem to be effective!
