Subject:QUESTION: Inter/Intranet development tools From:Kate Kane <KGKANE -at- ACCUSORT -dot- COM> Date:Tue, 27 Jan 1998 13:42:07 EST5EDT
Greetings all -
I have been asked to post this question by my boss. Excuse me if the
background information is out of order - I don't entirely understand
it, but I think it's all there. That said ...
Our company network runs on a Novell server using IPX protocol with a
translator to TCP/IP for our internet site. We are in the process of
developing web pages using Front Page, but are having some problems
because the Front Page extensions are not compatible with Netware,
_and_ because we are not using TCP/IP.
Question 1 - what development tools do other companies use and
why?
Question 2 - any suggestions for inter/intranet development tools for
our situation?
Thanks in advance for any comments and help. If there's enough
interest I will post my answers to the list.
