Subject:macron and underdot? From:Mark Halpern <mhalpern -at- SCOPUS -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 2 Feb 1998 15:12:55 -0800
Colleagues,
Is there any readily available font for a user of Windows 95 and Word
7 that includes the diacritical marks "macron" and "underdot", or offers
alphabetic characters already provided with such marks?
(For the curious: I want to represent the name of the Sanskrit
grammarian Panini correctly, and in his name the "a" needs a macron, the
the first "n" an underdot.)
I have selected "Symbol" from the "Insert" menu, and explored the
available symbols that come with the usual fonts, but couldn't find
these two marks.
Mark
