Text From Postcript

Quick question: How does one get text out of a postcript file?

The best I can think of is to convert to PDF and Edit-->Select All-->Paste. But
this has to be done page by page?

Tools available to me:

Framemaker [and for Unix and for PC 5.0]
Acrobat Reader
Ghostview
Word [PC]
