Subject: problematic terms

Worked with a client who tried to eradicate the term dongle, a type of male
connector. Because there were other technical terms to use in place of it,
the doc group was successful. I don't know of other terms for heartbeat and
infant mortality, though. The context they're used in will make it clear;
still, if you find "infant mortality" offensive, you might find a way out. I
rarely see the term mother board for system board anymore.
