Subject:Canadian users of AECMA Simplified English From:quintal <quintal -at- INFO-INTERNET -dot- NET> Date:Mon, 2 Mar 1998 20:38:22 -0500
I am trying to get in touch with Canadian technical writers/editors who work with controlled language. (Those of you who are not Canadian but are also interested in this subject can write to me as well. I will share whatever information, links, etc. I have at my disposal.)
In particular, I want to get feedback from those who use AECMA Simplified English. This standard is used chiefly (but not exclusively) by the aerospace industry. I will be attending an AECMA SE meeting in Seville at the end of March. It would be very helpful if I had some feedback, from a Canadian perspective, about the AECMA SE standard.
