Carol:
Why keep it a secret?
We're all interested in the going rates for other places.
If this LIST is to SERVE Tech Writers, the various salary ranges around
the world are of interest to most of us.
No "job" is permanent. You can love your spouse, your kid, even your
dog; but don't love your job. It will never love you.

Subject: QUESTION re: Salaries in Chicago
A medium-sized software co. is courting me (a novel
experience, that) for a tech. comm. manager job in Chicago.
My question is, what is a reasonable salary range for similar
jobs in town?
Please reply to me off-list, so as not to clutter the bandwidth.
With grateful thanks in advance,
Carol Van Natta
