Subject:Child care as a travel expense From:Wendy Putman <wputman -at- CASTLETON -dot- COM> Date:Mon, 27 Apr 1998 11:11:52 -0700
Here is the summary of my survey:
Three respondents who work/ed for larger high-tech companies have been
reimbursed for child care expenses. Some companies ask for proof that
you don't have friends/family who can take care of the child for free.
One respondent said it's not set in stone, but negotiable with
management, as long as it's done prior to travel.
Two respondents, both with very small companies, said they got turned
down.
