Position Title: Documentation Specialist
Responsibilities: This is an excellent opportunity for technical professionals who would like to transition from a development role to a more documentation-focused position. As a Documentation Specialist this individual will be responsible for providing documentation on new software releases through constant interaction with the development teams.
Responsibilities include:
* A thorough understanding of the products
* The ability to relate very technical information to a diverse customer base
* Working closely with the development teams
* Creative and professional presentation of the product
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be required to have had prior experience in the field of technical documentation. A strong technical background in the software industry is most desirable, preferably including actual software development experience. The candidate must possess good communication skills along with the ability to work through constructive criticism from the development teams. Must possess a knack to creatively translate technical information to a diverse crowd, while maintaining technical integrity. Will favor technical skills over documentation capabilities, but must prove competent in both. Ideal candidate will work autonomously, possessing the capability to reason through most situations. Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills are critical.
