TECHNICAL WRITER - NEW YORK CITY
--------------------------------
Summit Systems has an immediate opening in our Technical Communications
Group for an experienced Technical Writer.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience
documenting complex software products, and will be able to demonstrate
strong writing and editing skills.
Broad familiarity with a variety of content creation software, such as
Microsoft Office, Adobe PageMaker, and Adobe PhotoShop or CorelDraw,
is required. A willingness to learn and an aptitude for learning new
software are much more important than knowledge of any particular
package, however.
Experience creating online help (WinHelp or HTML-based help) and content
for online delivery in HTML or PDF formats would be a major plus.
Familiarity with finance, particularly capital markets, is desirable but
not required; if you don't have this background but are willing to put
in the work required to acquire it, we're more than willing to teach
you.
Resumes may be e-mailed (in plain ASCII format only, please) to
recruit -at- summithq -dot- com, or faxed to the attention of Ms. Jennifer
Cosby at (212) 896-3434.
