Subject:An Elegant Draw Program? From:Stuart Burnfield <slb -at- FS -dot- COM -dot- AU> Date:Mon, 4 May 1998 08:42:17 +0800
Visual Thought is superb. There are good graphics packages, powerful
ones, cheap ones and simple ones, but Roz asked for an elegant Windows
graphics package, and Visual Thought is that.
There's a full demo version on the sampler CD that comes with Frame
5.5. You can also get an evaluation copy from the vendors, Confluent.
Their web site is at www.confluent.com
VT has a very interesting tutorial/guided tour. It's like an inter-
active slide show, done in Visual Thought itself. It explains what
you can do with VT and lets you experiment with the options and
drawing tools.
The only drawback is that it comes with an elegant price tag. I don't
have it to hand but I think it's about USD 600-800.
