Subject:Locking Documents vs. PDF From:Brenda Ruetschi <Bruetschi -at- ALPHA88 -dot- COM> Date:Fri, 8 May 1998 15:28:41 -0400
Hello all-
I need to deliver an electronic document to a client for production.
When I converted to .pdf format my graphics were horrendous - fuzzy, jagged,
and slightly smaller.
I received a number of suggestions on various ways to combat the
graphic degradation problem, but I don't really know anything about Adobe
products and don't have a lot of time to learn. Deadlines are looming.
We are considering delivering the document in its original format -
Word 97 - and locking it so they cannot rearrange or adjust anything. Aside
from making sure I pick a good, and memorable, password, any cautions or
potential problems?
BTW - I promise to learn all about graphics and .pdfs soon.
