JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
One-year, full-time appointment in technical and scientific
communication at the rank of instructor or assistant
professor. Ph.D. in field or in closely related field
*preferred*. Teaching duties include a variety of
undergraduate and graduate technical writing and
communication courses, including document design,
multimedia design, web design, legal writing, proposal and
grant writing, technical editing, online documentation, and
usability. Applicants should show evidence of successful
teaching, active research and publication, and ability to
integrate instructional technologies into the classroom.
Industry experience in technical communication and Internet
technologies preferred. Salary commensurate with
qualifications.
The TSC Institute offers B.A., B.S., M.A., and M.S. degrees
in Technical and Scientific Communication.
