If you are going to mail your resume to fifty or so companies, you
should probably try the direct mail method. Create a resume with
sections and without and see what kind of responses each resume
generates.
My resume is two pages long. And, surprisingly enough I get calls from
people who only saw the second page. The second page doesn't contain my
employment or education data. But, it does repeat the contact
information just in case the pages get separated.
