Healtheon is looking for a technical writer who will document formal
procedures,
prerequisites, troubleshooting, and task steps for the
Network Operations group. Successful candidate must be
familiar with the following:

* network operations and terminology
* computer room processes and terminology
* client/server environment

Candidate must be experienced with word processing tools,
such as FrameMaker and Word97, and desktop operating systems
such as Microsoft NT.

The following characteristics are highly desirable:

* at least 5 years relevant technical writing experience
* experience with publishing on the Web
* a user's knowledge of UNIX
* the ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining
a high level of quality documentation
* the ability to interact well with engineers and computer
room personnel

Healtheon Corporation is a rapidly growing, two-year old company
founded by Jim Clark(of Silicon Graphics and Netscape fame), funded by
Kleiner
Perkins, developing applications for the $1 trillion healthcare market
to
enable insurance companies (payers), employers, employees and Healthcare
